You need a lot of fiber. It is the drug called Metamucil disadvantages, one days a spoon when you wake up in the morning. They should mix it with a minimum of (8 ounces) of water and mix well. Bowell is a better facilitate traffic. Go to their search engines and give diverticulitis. You have to sites containing information that you need. Good luck with your research and your health.

My mother was and could not eat the seeds (any kind of nothing), or nuts of all kinds. No popcorn, no strong cheeses. Non-abrasive and foods other than those mentioned above. I also believe that there is no coffee or cola - but not sure because my mother never had anyway.
The removal of the above is not as easy as it seems - there are many things. Some acids are irritating to the list, too - like peanut butter crunch. Probably the wine, and beer directly from! What we give only a list of not, but if you eat bad foods, monitoring - because you know in 24 hours. B.

I work for a colorectal surgeon. He has increased his patient's diverticulum fiber, and avoid:
Nuts / seeds
Popcorn
Caffeine
Chocolate (sorry)
Cheese
and citrus fruits

Raw vegetables can also irritate.
